HEY
Two years ago we played a show in Ottawa. Much Music came with us and filmed our adventures around town, and the show itself. A girl puked under the merch table, I ate a questionable amount of bacon, First Rate People crowd-surfed – it was a good time. And now you can watch it for yourself!
Behold, MUCH Detour: Born Ruffians in Ottawa…
Speaking of awesome shows, last weekend we had three of them with The Elwins, all of which were a lot of fun. But the last show of the bunch was the most special. We played in our hometown of Midland, Ontario for the first time in over seven years. I can’t really describe how crazy it was, but I did my best the other day on Twitter. Scroll down a bit and you’ll see my tweets about the show.
Our next show, as of right now, isn’t until January when we play Lincoln Hall in Chicago for Tomorrow Never Knows fest (tickets on sale right here) – we’re really looking forward to getting back to Chicago, we always have wicked shows there.
AND last but certainly not least, if you haven’t heard Luke’s solo record Rhythymnals yet, you’re only hurting yourself. If you’re in Canada, you can get it on iTunes here, if you’re elsewhere (or still in Canada) or if you want a hard copy, or maybe say, a sweet white vinyl LIMITED EDITION of Rhythymnals, well you can most definitely get that from Paper Bag Records right here.
Go. Go do that.
